This set was purchased by a now-retired doctor during his visit to Paris in 1980. He had it on display in his office for many years.
The set is housed in a leather-covered case with a brass carrying handle. It is complete with the exception of a rongeur in the upper compartment. Most instruments are marked with the maker's name with the exception of the tourniquet and two of the smaller knives. However, all items appear to be proper for the set. There is some minor damage to the handles of the saws, circa 1860. Price $1,300.
