Excellent and complete trephine set by Weigand & Snowden. There are two different sized trephines, a skull saw, bone rasp, bone brush, and knife marked with maker's name.


This set belonged to Dr. Neri Barndt of Perkasie. Penn. It was given to him by Cyrenious, his father, a native of Bucks County., Penn. The set is marked on the interior and contains a business card belonging to Neri.


The last year that Snowden and Weigand were together was 1855. The case is lined in plush purple velvet. The set has a key present. Circa 1855.
