Brass cornered boxed set by Sickles. I am unable to find this company in my researching. If anyone can give me info about this company, I'd appreciate it. The knives have heavy ebony checkered handles and are rounded with rounded ends, characteristic of earlier type. The lid holds a very ornate brass amputation saw. The rongeurs are a replacement. circa 1850's.
