Early single layer set lined in burgundy velvet by Savigny of London. The knives have beautifully grained wooden handles and are marked Savigny. The Bow saw has an ebony handle and is also marked. The Savigny family members were among the top makers in London from 1720 - 1850. Circa 1790.
