Nice brass cornered boxed set by LV Helmhold. Lined in plush red velvet with a key hole. The set is missing the saw, rongeur and a finger saw. All knives are marked LV Helmhold. With the brass corners and style of instruments , this set probably dates from the civil war or immediate post war period.
